Gritty and powerful grooves from The Yardbirds – mixing bluesy guitars and psychedelia in a pretty incredible way – with some gestures from guitarist Jimmy Page that indeed seem predict a course he's take in more lumbering fashion with Led Zeppelin in the following few years. The set was produced by Mickie Most, and bit of poppier feel, though, and ultimately really exciting, still relevant stuff!
